Hypit online: clone any viral video with AI agents, nothing to install
Hypit is the open-source system that lets AI agents clone a viral video as a complete, editable workflow. Run Hypit online here: paste a TikTok, Reel or Short, tell the agent what to change, and get the whole video back — footage, captions, B-roll and effects — without Claude Code, a terminal or your own API keys.

What is Hypit?
Hypit is an open-source language and toolchain that gives coding agents such as Claude Code and Codex a way to make video. Drop in a reference clip and the Hypit agent clones it as a complete workflow rather than a one-off render: it reads the shots, the pacing, the dialogue, the word-timed captions, the B-roll cuts and the effects, then rebuilds all of it around your content. Because every element is anchored to words in the script instead of seconds on a timeline, you can rewrite a line, swap the presenter or translate the whole thing and the timing re-flows on its own.
The official Hypit repo shipped on GitHub in September 2026 and passed 10,000 stars in its first week. It installs as an agent skill with one command, is free to use, and bills only for the generation models you plug in. What it does not do is run in a browser: Hypit assumes a terminal, an agent subscription, WhisperX for word alignment and your own model keys. This page is the Hypit workflow with that part removed — the same reference-to-workflow cloning, driven by the agent inside Faceless Reels.
Follows the open-source projecthypit-ai/hypitEverything Hypit does, without the terminal
Every stage of the Hypit pipeline — reference analysis, script, footage, voice, word-level captions, B-roll, effects and batch variants — delivered from your browser.
Clone the whole video, not the script
Hypit rebuilds shots, pacing, captions, B-roll and effects from a reference, then swaps in your content.
Captions anchored to words
Word-level alignment pins every caption and effect to what is said, so edits re-time themselves.
Swap the host, product or hook
Change the presenter, the product, the language or the aspect ratio while the structure stays intact.
One workflow, 100 variants
Reuse the composition and generate only the parts that change — hooks, CTAs, SKUs, languages.
AI footage and voices included
Seedance, MiniMax and image models plus natural TTS voices are wired in; no HypiHub or BYOK setup.
Proven formats built in
Start from a podcast, street interview, dialogue, ranked list or product story when you have no reference.
Editable after the render
Every clone stays an editable project: change one line, one shot or one caption and re-render.
9:16 and 16:9 HD output
Export vertical 1080x1920 for TikTok, Reels and Shorts, or horizontal 1920x1080.
How Hypit cloning works here
From a viral reference to a publish-ready clone in four steps — the same workflow the Hypit skill runs in Claude Code or Codex, minus the install.
- Step 011
Paste a viral video
Drop a TikTok, Instagram Reel or YouTube Short link, or upload a file, and say what should change.
- Step 022
The agent studies the reference
It maps shots, dialogue, caption timing, B-roll cuts and effects into an editable Hypit-style workflow.
- Step 033
Swap in your content
Review the plan and budget, then change the host, product, hook, language or aspect ratio.
- Step 044
Render and publish
Generate the footage, voice and captions, export HD and post to TikTok, Reels or Shorts.

Hypit FAQ
The questions people ask about Hypit on GitHub, Reddit and X — and how running it online changes the answers.
What is Hypit AI, in one sentence?
Hypit is an open-source video language and toolchain (GitHub: hypit-ai/hypit) that lets a coding agent such as Claude Code or Codex clone any viral video into an editable, re-runnable workflow — the whole production, not just a script.
How do I use Hypit without installing anything?
Use this page. Paste a viral video link into the box above, describe what should change, and the agent inside Faceless Reels runs the Hypit-style reference-to-workflow cloning for you. The self-hosted route is npx skills add hypit-ai/hypit -g inside Claude Code or Codex, plus WhisperX and your own model keys.
Is Hypit free?
The Hypit framework is free and open source, with no seat pricing, per-render fee or watermark. What costs money is generation: either your own API keys or a HypiHub plan, which starts at $9.90 a month for 1,800 credits. Here, generation is included in your credits and the first video is free.
Do I need Claude Code or Codex to run Hypit?
For the open-source install, yes — Hypit is an agent skill and needs a coding agent that can use skills. Running it online here removes that requirement: the agent is built in, so there is no terminal, no agent subscription and nothing to configure.
Which video links does Hypit accept?
Hypit reads a local file or a supported platform link. Here you can paste a TikTok, Instagram Reel, YouTube Short or Facebook Reel link, or upload an MP4, and the agent extracts the frames, transcript and timing it needs from that reference.
Does Hypit work on Windows?
The open-source project supports Windows, but early issues cover the Windows credential store rejecting long OAuth tokens and provider examples that were not copy-pasteable. In the browser none of that applies — the workflow runs on any device.
Can I use Hypit commercially, or build a product on it?
Hypit uses a modified Apache-2.0 license. You may use it commercially for your own organisation and the videos you make belong to you, but operating it as a multi-tenant or SaaS offering, or reselling it, requires a written commercial license from Hypit.AI. This site runs its own cloning agent rather than redistributing the Hypit source.
Will a cloned video get flagged as a duplicate?
Hypit clones structure — pacing, cuts, caption rhythm — and regenerates the footage, voice and script around your content, so the file is new. Structure is not copyrightable, but a specific person’s footage, voice or likeness is: clone formats, swap in your own presenter and product, and keep the original creator’s face and audio out of it.
How much does one Hypit clone cost?
The official examples publish their bills: a 20-second tier-list clone cost $1.15 in model fees, an 18-second podcast clip $1.07 and a 26-second street interview $1.09. Users on X report $1.35 to $1.39 for similar clips. Captions, motion graphics and code-rendered visuals can be compiled with no model call at all.
How is Hypit different from Arcads, Higgsfield or CapCut templates?
Templates lock you into one or two swappable slots that the template author chose. Hypit reads a real reference and writes a workflow for it, so any video becomes the template and any part of it can change. It is also open source and model-agnostic, where Arcads and Higgsfield are closed platforms with their own catalogs.
